Figure 02

Windcraft Multihulls has always believed that supporting an owner should continue long after a boat changes hands. That commitment now has a new monthly tradition: the Windcraft Multihulls Customer Appreciation Giveaway. Each month, one customer will be selected at random to receive a practical upgrade, replacement part, or service item designed to help keep their boat ready for the next sail.

The giveaway is built around the details that matter in real ownership. Sailors know that dependable equipment, thoughtful maintenance, and timely replacement of worn components all contribute to safer, easier, and more enjoyable time on the water. The monthly prize may be a new main halyard, trampoline-net lacing, a forestay, trailer tires, a genoa UV sleeve, new blocks and tackle, or another useful item matched to the needs of the Windcraft owner community.

Rather than focusing on novelty prizes, the program recognizes owners with equipment they can put to work. A new line, a sound piece of standing rigging, or a refreshed trailer component can make a meaningful difference in the way a boat is prepared and used. It is a practical expression of appreciation from a team that understands the boats, the systems, and the maintenance decisions that come with multihull ownership.

The first winner is Chris Walker, the proud owner of an F-28CC. Chris will receive a new 2:1 mainsail halyard built with Lanex Dynestorm line, combining a Dyneema core with a Cordura cover. Splicing, whipping, and shipping are included, so the finished halyard will arrive ready to support the next chapter of sailing aboard his trimaran.

A well-built mainsail halyard is an especially fitting first prize. It is one of the lines an owner depends on every time the mainsail goes up, and a 2:1 arrangement can help reduce load while improving control. The Dyneema core provides high strength with low stretch, while the Cordura cover adds the handling and abrasion resistance needed for regular use. It is the kind of upgrade that is easy to appreciate every time the boat leaves the dock.

The monthly giveaway also reflects the strength of the wider Windcraft community. Owners sail different boats in different places, but they share an enthusiasm for capable multihulls and memorable days on the water. Recognizing one customer each month gives Windcraft another opportunity to celebrate those owners while helping them care for the boats they enjoy.

Congratulations to Chris on being the first Windcraft Multihulls Customer Appreciation Giveaway winner. Windcraft is grateful for the trust and support of its customers and looks forward to recognizing another owner next month. Fair winds, and stay tuned for the next giveaway.
