Our Performance Multihull Clinic with Randy Smyth this past weekend at Fort Walton Yacht Club was a great success! Besides the exceptional instruction from the Sailing Hall of Fame's Randy Smith, the highlight of the weekend was the dynamic use of the screacher sail. Our students appreciated the sail's ability to perform upwind in light conditions as well as to act as a 'lazy man's spinnaker in heavier winds in cruising situations. All and all the weekend was a ton of fun and a great way for students to increase their comfort level with the boats.
