The path to a new Dragonfly does not begin at the delivery dock. For many owners, the story starts much earlier, with design conversations, model decisions, build progress, and the first glimpse of the boat taking shape. For Mike, Marilyn, and their family, that story included a visit to the Quorning Boats factory in Denmark.

Windcraft had the pleasure of welcoming them to the factory and giving them a behind-the-scenes look at the facility where their new Dragonfly 40 Ultimate is being built. Seeing a boat come together in person adds a different kind of excitement to the ownership process. It turns drawings, specifications, and production updates into something tangible.

The Dragonfly 40 Ultimate is a serious performance cruising trimaran, and watching one take shape helps an owner appreciate the level of engineering and craftsmanship behind the finished boat. A factory visit can also make the delivery process feel more personal. The boat is no longer just a future arrival date. It becomes a project, a relationship, and a journey that the owner is part of from the beginning.

This Dragonfly 40 Ultimate is scheduled for completion in September. After completion, she will be shipped to the United States, where the Windcraft Multihulls team will handle commissioning. That commissioning phase is a critical bridge between factory completion and real ownership. It is where systems are checked, details are handled, and the boat is prepared for the way the owners will actually use her.

Windcraft will also provide several days of personalized orientation and on-the-water training. For a boat of this size and capability, that time is invaluable. It helps owners understand systems, practice handling, build confidence, and make the transition into ownership as smooth as possible.

Congratulations to Mike, Marilyn, and their family. Windcraft is excited to be part of the process from factory visit to commissioning, training, and the first adventures aboard their Dragonfly 40 Ultimate.
