Figure 02

A well-equipped performance trimaran can be both exhilarating to sail and straightforward to own. Corsair 760R #189 is a strong example of that balance. This 2025 boat has been lightly used, carefully maintained, and thoughtfully outfitted for an owner who wants performance without giving up the practical advantages of a trailerable multihull.

Since commissioning, #189 has spent most of her time on a lift or in storage in Marco Island, Florida, rather than sitting continuously in the water. Her experienced owners primarily used the boat for casual day sailing in mild to light conditions. She has not been heavily cruised or raced, and Windcraft Multihulls has spent time aboard with the owners and can attest to the boat's condition, equipment choices, and careful ownership.

The equipment list is unusually complete. Factory and owner-selected upgrades include the Advanced Navigation Package, a cruising roller-furling jib, cruising screacher, performance package, screacher and spinnaker control systems, windward sheeting, Harken winch upgrades, Colligo rigging, a composite daggerboard, upgraded running rigging, barber haulers, cockpit cushions, an interior V-berth cushion, bow nets, a float locker, a custom boom tent, and a custom storage cover. A 2025 Tohatsu 6 HP outboard, road trailer, upgraded battery, safety gear, docking equipment, tools, and spares further reduce what the next owner would need to add before sailing.

At 24 feet 3 inches overall, the Corsair 760R combines the speed, stability, and shallow-water versatility of a modern trimaran with a genuinely useful cruising interior. Its folding amas reduce the beam to approximately 8 feet 2 inches for trailering, storage, and launching. That makes it possible to own a high-performance multihull without committing to a permanent slip or a single sailing area.

On the water, the rotating wing mast, daggerboard, efficient multihull platform, and generous sail plan create a light and responsive boat. The three-hull configuration provides a wide, stable platform, while the adjustable daggerboard supports both shallow-water access and efficient upwind sailing. With the board raised, draft is about one foot; with it lowered, draft increases to roughly 5 feet 3 inches.

The 760R's versatility is one of its greatest strengths. The full-length cockpit offers substantial outdoor space for day sailing and entertaining, while the pop-top, V-berth, compact galley, and cruising-oriented interior make weekend trips practical. It can serve as a fast daysailer, coastal cruiser, family adventure boat, or trailerable platform for exploring new sailing grounds.

Corsair 760R #189 is offered by Windcraft Multihulls at $119,000. A comparably equipped new 760R would cost substantially more after current pricing, shipping, duty, commissioning, and upgrades are included. Windcraft will also include a new spinnaker with a full-price offer. For a sailor seeking a lightly used, carefully maintained, and exceptionally well-equipped trailerable trimaran, #189 represents a compelling opportunity.
