Seawind 1190 Sport
The 1190 Sport has been developed for sailors looking for performance without compromise on comfort and range. The 1190 Sport is a variant of the popular Seawind 1160 and has been optimised by Francois Perus in collaboration with Alan Carwardine, two of the industry’s leading multihull designers. Instead of fixed keels the 1190 Sport has two daggerboards. The rudders are stern hung daggers also. A carbon fiber bowsprit, a taller mast with synthetic rigging plus some carbon interior furniture items completes the high performance picture and enables the 1190 Sport to sail closer to the wind, and faster, plus get into very shallow areas by raising the boards and rudder.
The 1190 Sport offers all the advantages of a modern sports catamaran without losing the ability to also perform as a long distance cruiser.
