Windcraft provides unbiased advice on purchasing sails, based on your needs and budget. The first thing we ask is what how you use your boat – for cruising, racing, or a bit of both. We will help steer you through the wide selection of sail cloth available, and help you reach the best combination of cost, longevity, and performance for your own needs. We are agents for several major multihull sailmakers (Smyth Sail, Calvert Sails, Schurr Sails etc), so you will be assured that you are not buying a fad being pushed by one particular sail loft. For the racer, we work closely with several world-renowned multihull sail makers to develop the highest performance class-legal sails at the best possible price. And, because we actively cruise on our own boats we also understand what a cruiser is looking for. We guarantee that it won’t cost you any more to buy your sails through Windcraft Multihulls than directly from a sail loft, and we can offer you more choices.
We occasionally have used sails available (please e-mail Don for our current inventory).
Smyth sails are available from Windcraft Multihulls. Randy Smyth is an innovator and designs some of the most performance oriented sails for trimarans and catamarans in the world. Email us or call us for a quote.
Calvert Sails have been making sails for Corsair Trimarans since the 1990s. Their sails are high quality and are made with care. A good choice for both racers and cruisers. Call or email us for a quote to outfit your multihull with Calvert Sails.
Schurr Sails is based in Pensacola and has been building sails for Corsair trimarans for over 30 years. Hunter Riddle, the owner, oversees production of every sail, and can provide custom features that major sail lofts are not willing to do. Very good quality sails at a very reasonable price.
