Construction

The Dragonfly 36 features three advanced, wave-piercing hulls constructed in hand-laid fiberglass with vinylester resin and Divinycell closed-cell foam core, finished in white gelcoat. The deck and structural interior components are also built using fiberglass sandwich construction with foam core for optimal strength-to-weight ratio.

The folding “Swing Wing” arms and forward structural bulkhead are vacuum-infused using unidirectional carbon fiber and biaxial reinforcements, while the aft structural bulkhead is manufactured in fully infused carbon fiber. All composite structural components are post-cured (tempered) for maximum performance and durability.

A composite vinylester centerboard and prepreg carbon fiber rudder—both with kick-up systems—ensure versatility and shallow-water capability. Watertight collision bulkheads are integrated into all three hulls for added safety.

Interior

The interior is finished in ash laminate with varnished wood trim, creating a modern yet warm atmosphere. Accommodation includes two double cabins (forward and aft), each fitted with anti-bacterial mattresses.
