A more performance-oriented deck layout and larger, open cockpit enhance crew ergonomics and control, making the boat equally comfortable for spirited day sailing, competitive events, or fast coastal passages.
Optional carbon fiber mast and boom reduce weight aloft, improving balance, responsiveness, and overall sailing efficiency. While the interior remains fully functional for cruising and overnight stays, the 970 Sport shifts the focus toward sailing performance and open-deck enjoyment.
