ABOUT THIS BOAT

This 2026 Seawind 1160XL Hull #4 is scheduled to arrive in Tampa in late summer or early fall 2026 and is intended to be based in Pensacola and/or St. Petersburg, Florida depending on owner preference.

Windcraft Multihulls is offering several ownership paths: traditional 100% ownership, a majority ownership structure with 85% to 90% available, or fractional 30% ownership shares.

The majority ownership option is designed for a buyer who wants nearly all the benefits of sole ownership while reducing the operational burden. Windcraft retains a limited minority position and remains actively involved with professional management, maintenance oversight, warranty coordination, training support, and demonstration opportunities.

As the authorized Seawind dealer, importer, and service provider for the Gulf States, Windcraft is positioned to support this 1160XL throughout its ownership lifecycle. The program is built around Gulf Coast access, Bahamas cruising capability, dealer-level support, and a simpler path into a capable offshore cruising catamaran.

The Seawind 1160XL builds on the proven 1160 platform with modern styling, increased interior volume, strong sailing performance, and the comfort expected from a serious cruising catamaran.

Ownership & Financial Structure

This offering has been designed for a buyer who desires the benefits of yacht ownership without assuming the full financial and operational burden alone.

Rather than purchasing 100% of the vessel, the majority owner acquires an 85%–90% ownership interest in Hull No. 004 while Windcraft Multihulls retains a 10%–15% minority ownership position. Windcraft's retained interest aligns incentives, ensures long-term support, and allows the company to remain actively involved in maintaining the vessel's condition, value, and overall ownership experience.

The majority owner retains primary scheduling priority, operational control, and decision-making authority regarding the vessel's use, cruising plans, and future disposition.

Ongoing Operating Costs

The majority owner and Windcraft will share ongoing vessel expenses in proportion to their ownership interests unless otherwise agreed.

Typical annual expenses may include:

  • Marina or dockage fees

  • Insurance

  • Routine maintenance

  • Bottom cleaning and haul-outs

  • Service and repairs

  • Equipment replacement and upgrades

  • Registration and administrative costs

Windcraft Multihulls will coordinate and oversee these activities, allowing the owner to focus on enjoying the vessel rather than managing it.

Professional Management Advantage

Unlike traditional yacht ownership, this arrangement provides direct access to the authorized Seawind dealer, importer, and service provider for the Gulf States region.

Windcraft Multihulls will assist with:

  • Warranty administration

  • Maintenance scheduling

  • Service management

  • Vessel inspections

  • Owner training and familiarization

  • Cruising preparation

  • Future resale and brokerage support

Exit Strategy & Future Flexibility

The ownership structure is designed to remain flexible.

The majority owner may choose to:

  • Maintain the ownership arrangement long-term

  • Acquire Windcraft's ownership interest in the future

  • Increase ownership percentage over time

  • Sell the vessel and realize proceeds according to ownership percentages

  • Transition into another Seawind or larger multihull platform through Windcraft

This structure provides many of the benefits of sole ownership while reducing acquisition costs and ensuring ongoing professional support throughout the ownership experience.
