Thomas “Tommy” Clark is a licensed USCG 100 GRT Master Captain with an Auxiliary Sail endorsement, a licensed Florida Yacht Broker, and Managing Director at Windcraft Multihulls. His philosophy on the sailing lifestyle is best expressed by Mark Twain’s famous words:“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” 

Tommy’s love of sailing began in childhood, learning from his father and uncle on the northern Gulf of Mexico and the western Caribbean waters of Belize. He grew up sailing, repairing, and racing various multihulls such as Hobie Cats, Nacras, Stilettos, and Conser Warriors. Professionally, he gained extensive experience captaining charters and leading offshore training passages in Belize. Over the years, Tommy has delivered countless sailing yachts—primarily multihulls—throughout the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, and Caribbean Sea. He has also logged thousands of offshore miles racing and cruising aboard the many multihulls he has owned. 

Beyond sailing, Tommy has immersed himself in nearly every facet of the marine industry. His work has included marine contracting, parts sales, rigging, inspections, and full restorations or refits for clients and of his own boats. This hands-on, wide-ranging experience gives him a unique ability to connect with clients across different states, countries, and cultures, while offering a deep knowledge of both sailing and the broader marine trades. 

When it comes to yacht sales, Tommy prides himself on using his knowledge and experience to help clients find the right boat for their needs. His approach is never about “selling” a particular boat but about guiding people on their sailing journey. Building trust, ensuring comfort, and delivering on promises are core values in how he serves every client. 

In recent years, Tommy has fully committed himself to the performance multihull world through his partnership with Don Wigston and Windcraft Multihulls in Florida. “It’s a dream come true to be partners with Don and to represent Windcraft,” Tommy says. “I’ve admired the brands Windcraft represents for years. Dragonfly Trimarans, Corsair Marine, Seawind Catamarans, and Rapido Trimarans are where I feel most at home—as a sailor, a salesperson, and a technician. To me, these are the pinnacle of production multihull sailing, and I’m determined to help others discover, learn, and most importantly, enjoy them.” 

At Windcraft, Tommy plays a key role in new boat sales, brokerage and pre-owned sales, sailing instruction, captain services, and yacht deliveries. He also provides technical services, rigging services, organizes regattas and clinics, organizes & attends boat shows, provides parts and product sales, and more. 

Today, Tommy owns and actively campaigns a Corsair 970, Lanakila. He recently purchased a Dragonfly 28 Performance and a partnership share of a Seawind 1160XL which will be arriving later in 2026. He and his wife, Claire, enjoy cruising to favorite local anchorages in Pensacola, Fl and distant shores, extensive racing, and the boat is also available for demos and training.
