President

Thomas "Tommy" Clark is a licensed USCG 100 GRT Master Captain with an Auxiliary Sail endorsement, a licensed Florida Yacht Broker, and President of Windcraft Multihulls. His philosophy on sailing—and on life—is best captured by Mark Twain's famous words:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
Tommy's passion for sailing began in childhood, learning from his father and uncle while exploring the northern Gulf of Mexico and the western Caribbean waters of Belize. From an early age, he was sailing, racing, repairing, and restoring performance multihulls including Hobie Cats, Nacras, Stilettos, and Conser Warriors. That lifelong foundation evolved into a professional career that has taken him all over the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and Caribbean Sea.
As a professional captain, Tommy gained extensive experience leading charter operations and offshore training passages in Belize before going on to deliver numerous sailing yachts—primarily multihulls—throughout North American and Caribbean waters. He has logged thousands of offshore miles racing, cruising, and delivering the many multihulls he has owned and captained, giving him firsthand knowledge that only comes from years on the water.
Beyond sailing, Tommy has built a broad background across the marine industry. His experience includes marine contracting, yacht systems, rigging, parts and equipment sales, vessel inspections, and complete restorations and refits of both client vessels and his own boats. This hands-on expertise allows him to provide practical guidance that extends far beyond the sales process while connecting easily with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and levels of sailing experience.
Tommy believes that buying a boat should never feel like being sold one. His role is to understand each client's goals, lifestyle, and ambitions, then help them find the right boat to support that journey. Building long-term relationships based on trust, honesty, and follow-through remains at the heart of everything he does.
In recent years, Tommy has dedicated himself to the world of high-performance multihulls through his partnership with Don Wigston at Windcraft Multihulls.
"Partnering with Don and representing Windcraft is truly a dream come true," Tommy says. "I've admired the brands Windcraft represents for years. Dragonfly Trimarans, Corsair Marine, Seawind Catamarans, and Rapido Trimarans are where I feel most at home—as a sailor, broker, captain, and technician. I believe they represent the very best in production multihull sailing, and I'm passionate about helping others discover, learn, and enjoy these incredible boats."
As President of Windcraft Multihulls, Tommy is involved in virtually every aspect of the business, including company leadership, new yacht sales, brokerage and pre-owned sales, sailing instruction, captain services, yacht deliveries, technical support, rigging, parts and accessories, regatta and clinic organization, and representing Windcraft at major boat shows and sailing events.
Away from work, Tommy remains an active sailor and competitor. He currently campaigns his Corsair 970, Lanakila, and recently added a Dragonfly 28 Performance to his fleet. He is also a partner in a new Seawind 1160XL scheduled for delivery later in 2026. Tommy and his wife, Claire, enjoy everything from local cruises around Pensacola Bay to extended adventures farther afield, while remaining active in the racing community. Their boats are frequently used for demonstrations, sailing instruction, and owner training, allowing Tommy to share his passion and experience with the next generation of multihull sailors.
