Linda Baker grew up with a sailing family and began sailing and racing in the Lightning Class at Lake Lanier Sailing Club, north of Atlanta, in the 1970s. In the 1980s, she moved on to J/24s. Linda competed in multiple J/24 World and National Championship events and raced Corsair trimarans at the national level in the 2000s. She qualified for and was invited to race in the Rolex Women’s Championships in Rhode Island in 1999 and 2001. She currently races on ORR and one-design boats in the southeast.   Linda has been in the recreational marine industry for the last 15 years and brings a lot of experience to the Windcraft team.
